Testimonials – Introductory Course "Simple..Useful..Fun!!
I highly recommend this course to the beginners. I am
a complete beginner with a digital SLR camera and I took this course in the
hope that I would be able to get full use of my shiny new camera. After the 5
sessions, I now have the confidence to go out and experiment with it. Not only
does Gyuri help you to find your way around the camera but he helps you to understand
what's going on inside it. This understanding makes it easier for me to take
the camera off "auto" and get out and enjoy taking pictures on
different settings. The field trip was invaluable in opening my eyes to
different colours, objects, movements and lighting situations. I would
definitely recommend this course to any beginner or for someone who has an SLR
camera but like me, was not inspired by the manual!" "I
have owned my Canon DSLR for 3 years and I had never turned the dial away from
the green fully automatic button until I started Gyuri's Introductory
Photography course. Gyuri gave me the
confidence to try some of other great features on the camera and I have taken
some better photos during the last 5 weeks than I had taken in the last 3
years. Brilliant. I so
highly recommend this course – every aspect of it. I got so much out of it and
have made so much progress. Am recommending it to anyone with a camera! Gyuri Szabo's "Introduction to Digital Photography" course has revolutionised my very amateurish photography into pictures that people even comment on for their artistic value and the fact that it is a "great picture". After attending Gyuri's Foto Faculty 5 week course, the skills I have gained have been immensely helpful and have immediately translated into much, much better pictures. I have stunned myself and my husband so much so he has been so impressed he bought me a new camera! It has encouraged me to try out the new skills I have learnt and take even more pictures of the boys that I want to actually look at and enjoy! I highly recommend the course for its content, its
practical elements and above all, the teaching style of Gyuri. His patience and
professionalism in explaining even the smallest detail and answering a
gazillion questions is what made the course even more worthwhile. If you have
even the smallest interest in taking better pictures, whatever your subject may
be, and understanding your camera better, and want to have fun doing it then I
highly encourage you to enroll. Enjoyable,
relaxed and very useful. I've learned a lot in just a couple of days. Gyuri
explained everything step by step and used a lot of creative examples. There
was a great offering with a good mix of technical and practical exercises. I
would recommend this great course to anyone who wants to know more about their
digital camera. Testimonials – Teenager Course June 2010 Throughout the week,
Gyuri had helped me and other students learn how to use the functions of a
D-SLR camera. He taught us how to use the different modes and functions on the
camera and how to set the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, to suit different situations.
He also taught us how to capture the moment perfectly, with the right amount of
light and the camera set to the correct settings. On the third day we had fun
playing with the studio lights and taking photos of each other using the skills
we had learnt. The next day, we went to Klong Toei market and we took pictures
of various items changing the settings as we walked further down through the
busy market. It was fun to adapt the skills we learnt to produce great photos.
He gave us some very useful tips and analogies to help us understand the use of
a camera. This would help me a lot in my future in photography. This week has been
great, I learned a lot that I never know about before. Gyuri has helped me
understand how all the functions on my camera work and how to use those
according to the surroundings we were in. I also had a lot of fun going to the
market so we could use the skills we had learned. Although the functions were
sometimes complicated, he helped us to understand them and compared them to
everyday life, like a window. Thank you so much for this week Gyuri, and
I’m sure I will be seeing you very soon for another lesson. |
